2017 was another super hectic year, with 100 lovely weddings across the UK (and Italy). Here are highlights from some of my fave 20 weddings, with more to follow soon (including Autumn/Winter'17 highlights).
I'm not sure where to start with my 2017 highlights, as they were all such lovely and different days, so we'll begin with this utterly beautiful day at - The Painswick.
Then on to the lovely Southdown's Manor, one of my most popular venues - I love weddings here..
Next we'll jump down to Wiltshire, for this lovely wedding at Horsebridge Station.
I had so many rainy summer weddings in 2017, but this was the most perfect Summer's day.. fresh from the pages of 'Darling Bud's of May'.
Gate Street Barn, is another of my fave venues. I was here twice in 2017..
Now on to a new fave of mine - Pitt Hall Barn. I was here for two weddings in 2017, and was lucky enough to shoot one of them in their stunning outdoor wooded ceremony area.
On to another Barn wedding, but this time in Titchfield, Hampshire for a beautifully emotional day.
Now for something a little different.. in June 2017 I shot a wedding at the amazing Villa Baroncino in Tuscany, Italy. I flew out after shooting 4 back to back days of weddings across Hampshire and Somerset.. and was straight back a day later for more.. but it was so worth it - Tuscany swept me off my feet with it's beautiful gentle scenery and vineyards.
From a scorching hot day to one of the stormiest weddings I've photographed, this time in Southsea, Hampshire. With gale force winds, waves crashing over the sea wall, and the guests attired in vintage clothes - it was a truly unique and beautiful wedding.
Now to Lillibrooke Manor, and the beautiful outdoor wedding of Grace and Simon.
On to Ben and Henrietta's lovely day in Wiltshire, with a beautiful marquee reception in a relatives garden.
From one super fun day to another - this time at The Dancing Man Tavern in Hampshire.
From here we jump across to Somerset, and a wedding on the hottest day of the year at the beautiful Gant's Mill (which included a dark and mysterious tour of the old mill.. spiders' and' all).
And on to another Somerset wedding, this time at Stockbride Farm Barn.
From Somerset back across to Romsey in Hampshire for the wedding of Kate and Daryl.
Burley Manor is another beautiful boutique hotel, set in the New Forest, and the location of Mark and Louise's lovely July wedding.
.. and to finish my spring/summer 2017 highlights, here are a few shots from lovely weddings at Tithe Barn, Parley Manor and Skylark (some of my most popular venues over the past few years).
